Welcome!! I am pleased and thrilled to be your child's teacher this year!  I am looking forward to a GREAT year! My name is Stephanie Stayton.  I would like to tell you a little about myself. I am a 1999 graduate of Benton High School. I earned my associates degree at Shawnee Community College where I attended school on a softball scholarship from there I went on to earn my bachelor  in science degree from SIU. My fiance is Matt Stubblefield and  we have two daughters and a son. Our oldest daughter is Ashlyn, and is in the 7th grade here at Zeigler Royalton. Our son, Gunner  is 8 and our youngest daughter, Kynsleigh is 7. This is my 15th year teaching special education. My first year of teaching was spent teaching high school special education at Waltonville High school. From there I went on to teach special education at Elverado Dist. #196 the remainder of my teaching career  til I interviewed for my current job here at ZR teaching 3rd-6th grade special education.  I am so proud to be a member of the Z-R staff! In my free time I love spending time with my family. My hobbies are playing outside with my kids, softball, traveling, and fishing! I enjoy spending summers  with my family at the beach or by the pool!
